YAY! Our book is finished and has been uploaded!

Let me stress, this book isn't about writing tips for the web, how many spaces after a period or when to use a semicolon. This book is about how to make a living as a stay-at-home writer that wants to write on the web. Primarily keyword articles, web content, press releases and blogs.

We get a lot of emails from people because they are frustrated with trying to find work or even where to start. We put together a ton of information along with WHERE to get jobs.

Ever Thought About Writing Smut for a Living?

This may annoy or offend some of you, but have you ever thought of writing smut? The adult content world has a lot of possibilities and GOOD writers can make some great cake writing.

I found a fun blog titled "Naughty Words" that lists a lot of legitimate calls for submission and Katy Terrega has a lot of great information for anyone that makes to make this a career path for their writing.

Read up on it and you might just find you had a hidden talent for writing steamy prose!

Are You a Day Tipper?

If you know a tip for something, share it with Daytipper and they will pay you $3 for the tip. Most of the tips are 100 words or less and little helpful hints like this:

Make art for your wall from old calendars
Calendars have beautiful pictures. It's a shame to throw them all away at the end of the year! Save your favorite pictures, and put them in frames and hang them on the wall. This works well with both large pictures from wall-sized calendars and smaller pictures from desk calendars. Put a sheet of plain paper behind the picture to create a "mat" effect. To recycle even more, instead of buying new frames, look for frames in thrift stores or at garage or yard sales.

Gardening
Use extra plastic toys to label garden rows
My daughter's surplus, inexpensive plastic toys make great row markers for identifying different vegetable rows. This allows her to feel like she's making a contribution to our garden and not simply disposing of extra toys. For example, simply mark the vegetable name with a Sharpie on the toy and embed it in the soil at the end of the row. Make sure to secure it in the soil as you would any other marker. Kids love it!
