I do it and you can too. I have been making a living as a writer on the web and I have no special training, no college degree. In fact, as much as I hate admitting it - I dropped out of high school because I needed to earn money when I was a teen and there was no way I could balance the necessity of a paycheck and my school work. I eventually went back to school but I stil wasn't in a career that made me happy to get up and go to work. Writing for my clients is something I really love to do. The research lets me learn something new every day and most of all, I'm making money doing something I love.

What I'm saying is this: don't let what you perceive as a lack of education stop you. My book has shown thousands of people who to successfully make a living as a stay-at-home writer and I can show you how to do it too! Did you know most companies that hire corporate bloggers don't want super technical articles? They want real articles written by real people.

If you can find something to write around the the title "7 Things Your Mom Never Told You About Dating" or "Tips for Traveling with Your Poodle" you can absolutely make a living writing online. No matter how dull and boring you think your life is, you have had experiences and you can draw on those in your writing. Here's The Problem...
You need income. We all do. When you have little kids it adds more to the equation. You have to get a job that will allow you to pay for childcare, work clothes, gas (that's a fun one with the way the prices are going up all the time) and of course the upkeep of your car for getting to and from work and childcare.

Wouldn't it be better to work from home?
You could save on childcare, work clothes, wear and tear on your car. Best of all, you would get to spend your time with your kids, have the money and freedom in your schedule to travel when and where you want and best of all, your time is truly your own.

What Happened to Me...
I needed to make an income and my own personal situation doesn't allow me to work outside the home. My partner has a brain injury and seizures are a very real part of that. It didn't affect his inteligence and he still can do pretty much everything he ever did but he's also had some very scary seizures and they happen without warning and the last one he had, he stopped breathing. If I had not been here, he would have died. So, I wanted to find something I could do at home and still make a good income.

I've been an artist for years and then I got into web design. One of my web design clients asked how much it would be for me to do some web content... I didn't have a clue.
So I started researching pricing, what web content consisted of, keyword articles and more. An entirely new world opened up to me and I found a new niche.

I had no experience and so I had to really start from the same point most of you will be starting from. Soon I was blogging, writing and turning out words like a maniac and LOVING the money that came from it.

I have a career that literally allows me to work when I want and from anywhere I want. After I started making a steady income I got a WiFi laptop that allows me to work from anywhere.
When our older child is on vacation from school or we want to get away for a vacation, we can go anywhere we want and have an impromptu family getaway.

Anywhere I can get an Internet signal, I can work and let's face it, Wi-Fi is a fact in nearly every hotel, airport and coffee shops around the globe.

Here are two recent examples of doing a little work while enjoying myself with the fam.

This is the view from my bed in the hotel in Myrtle Beach where I was working in the morning while the kids were sleeping in. Work was done, breakfast arrived and we went out and enjoyed the day!	This is the view from our Cancun, Mexico hotel. I worked a little in the morning and then went to play in the beautiful sun and surf!
