I do affiliate marketing and I’ve spent an embarrassingly large amount of money on this must have affiliate marketing guide and that must have affiliate marketing guide only to find…. the only people making money are the “gurus” who get together and tout each other’s products.
There is no magic formula and it IS work but it’s not hard work and you can do affiliate marketing in your jammies eating a scone and enjoying coffee while Maury is saying, “You are not the father!” on your television in the background – how many jobs can you do that on?
I have found through years of trying this technique and that technique – good old informative article marketing works the very best. The only drawback is that articles don’t draw traffic for very long so you have to keep writing.
Don’t you hate it when you’re looking for information on a subject and you keep running into the same spun and respun article over and over. I had a very specific niche I was researching for a client that wanted a lot of web content written and I kid you not, I think only one set of articles was written on this particular subject -EVER. I kept running into the same articles on different sites and they were only slightly changed and they were obviously not written by someone that had English as a first language because the structure of some of the sentences was just psychotically bad.
Basically what I’m saying is, don’t put crap on the web. Don’t get me wrong, PLR (Private Label Rights) articles are cool – I sell them too but a lot of the sets being sold are OLD like 6+ years old and when you spin articles that are that old plus have already been sold and spun a ton of times – you’re just going to get sandboxed anyway by the search engines because you’re not offering anything new. If you’re going to use PLR, buy quality stuff that has limits on amounts of sets sold because you won’t get sandboxed for it.
Anyway – that’s my two cents
and for free heh….

When you spend hours in front of a computer screen every day, no matter how good your intentions are – eventually a deadline will require that you wind up eating a meal by the keyboard and then one meal turns into more and soon you’re eating “stuff” that is nutrition-less and garbage simply because it’s convenient to grab and run and get back to work…
I don’t like to eat anything that doesn’t do my body good so I try to keep fast snacks around that are good for me and the family.
We try to only eat local and organic foods and we won’t touch fast food which (besides the fat content) is because we don’t eat genetically modified foods. Don’t know about you but eating human, animal and bacteria DNA in our food because the USDA says it’s okay for us just doesn’t work.
Anyway one of my favorite sites is The Vegan Lunch Box and she made these groovy little oatmeal packets that are great to have around ….
I leave for work a little after 6:00am, and by the time my break rolls around at 9:30 I’m ready for a breakfasty snack. Fruit is good, but having access to hot water made me think of instant oatmeal, the kind that comes in little packets flavored with yummy maple and brown sugar.
The problem is, most prepackaged instant oatmeal is full of junk, and I HATE oatmeal with salt in it. (My mom never put salt in our oatmeal; the first time I had salty oatmeal at a restaurant I gagged.)
So, I decided to try making my own instant oatmeal packets!

We must get this question roughly 5 times a week asked in one form or another and the answer is absolutely, “YES!”
We wrote a book about how to get started – but I can tell you in a nutshell put up samples of your writing and it’s easy to do. Get a freebie blog through your ISP (many of them offer a free website) or go to Wordpress.com.
Then show your skillz!
Write about your hobbies, home remedies you know, write a challenge you have had and overcame, review the last 3 things you bought – the key is write about what you know.
Once you learn the ropes, the time for taking on topics you have to research and learn about will come. The main thing you want to have is samples of your writing style for potential clients to view.
