If you make money (or try to) on the Internet. You find out pretty quickly there are two types of Internet surfers.
(1) Researchers
(2) Buyers
Researchers want to know more about a subject. They will be putting keyword phrases like “what is [keyword]“, “pictures/photos of [keyword]“, “symptoms of [keyword]” and so on. They aren’t ready to buy anything yet, they are basically just getting information on a subject and wanting to know more.
Buyers – these are usually the evolved form of researchers. They’ve learned what they need to know on their subject of choice and they are ready to make a purchase. Your website needs to convey why that purchase should be done through you. Buyers use keyword phrases like “buy [product name]“, “purchase [product name]” or “get rid of [keyword phrase]” to just name a few.
Now for most of us, both kinds of traffic is good, but why?
Researchers tend to bring us Adzoogle or Adsense clicks and so you want to know what the higher traffic keyword phrases are. Buyers however need to be laser targeted so you can bring in the people ready to make a purchase for the affiliate marketing product you’re promoting. It’s okay to go for “low hanging fruit” so to speak and target lesser searched buyer keyword phrases so you can bring in the people that are ready to buy.
It’s pretty much common knowledge at this point in the game, PLR articles work. They help bring traffic and they are a good, economical way to get good content without spending a ton of money. There are a ton of ways to make money from these keywords. Build an informational website – either a blog or minisite and you can get every article title you’ll need through Google’s Related Searches feature. Also consider writing a free downloadable e-book on one of the Adsense Keyword subjects and deliver some good information. Also, for your site or e-book – go to Clickbank, Amazon, Commission Junction or other affiliate marketing company and find products that fit your niche to rep on your site – that way you can create a stream of income from not only Adsense clicks but affiliate marketing as well.
