I Still Don’t Squidoo

Don’t ask me what it is – but I still don’t Squidoo.

I went there, I signed up and I started to build a “Lens” but it just seemed to “sales-y” and baseless.  I put out a question to my mailing list of 1000+ affiliate marketers and asked – do you see SALES or significant traffic from Squidoo – not one person said they were getting either …

So I’m curious, what’s the hype about Squidoo?

One of the things nearly every IM Guru recommends for affiliate promotion is to build a Squidoo Lens. Is it so we’re so busy tweaking our Squidoo Lens we aren’t competition? I dunno….
Personally I get a LOT of referrals from Ezine Articles, 43 Things, Twitter and Facebook. But I’m active in a social way on those sites and it’s not just to sell people stuff.
