Article Marketing Really Does Work

I do affiliate marketing and I’ve spent an embarrassingly large amount of money on this must have affiliate marketing guide and that must have affiliate marketing guide only to find…. the only people making money are the “gurus” who get together and tout each other’s products.

There is no magic formula and it IS work but it’s not hard work and you can do affiliate marketing in your jammies eating a scone and enjoying coffee while Maury is saying, “You are not the father!” on your television in the background – how many jobs can you do that on?

I have found through years of trying this technique and that technique – good old informative article marketing works the very best. The only drawback is that articles don’t draw traffic for very long so you have to keep writing.

Don’t you hate it when you’re looking for information on a subject and you keep running into the same spun and respun article over and over. I had a very specific niche I was researching for a client that wanted a lot of web content written and I kid you not,  I think only one set of articles was written on this particular subject -EVER. I kept running into the same articles on different sites and they were only slightly changed and they were obviously not written by someone that had English as a first language because the structure of some of the sentences was just psychotically bad.

Basically what I’m saying is, don’t put crap on the web. Don’t get me wrong,  PLR (Private Label Rights) articles are cool – I sell them too but a lot of the sets being sold are OLD like 6+ years old and when you spin articles that are that old plus have already been sold and spun a ton of times – you’re just going to get sandboxed anyway by the search engines because you’re not offering anything new. If you’re going to use PLR, buy quality stuff that has limits on amounts of sets sold because you won’t get sandboxed for it.

Anyway – that’s my two cents :) and for free heh….

New Adsense Niche Market Keywords Post and Why We Don’t Do the Crap Stack…

We needed to find an a/c unit for the house and we used that situation to give you a list of $1 or better per click keywords – the post is in the PLR section of this website – www.keywordcontent.net/plr/.

And first of all, thanks to everyone that has bought our book, “Write All the Way to the Bank” it’s been out since 2005 and we update it every year and remove job opps that are gone, add new ones and update information to what clients are buying so everyone can continue using it to make money.

I had a question from a lady recently that wrote me and wanted to know why we didn’t have any “Freebies” with our book. And I can tell you why : I don’t like the “crap stack” and let’s face it- that’s what most of those freebies are.

I have master resale rights to thousands of products that I’ve written web content and reviews for (for clients) and I *could* give that stuff away with the book but seriously it won’t help you make money. Everything you need to make fast money as a writer is in that book and there’s no reason to give you ebooks that will detract from you making money which is what it’s all about.

What Program Do You Use to Write the Most?

I get asked that question a lot.

Most people are surprised to learn it’s not “Word”. However when you write for the web, blogs and other web content – Word isn’t the best because clients that like to cut-n-paste your articles into their websites will find that sometimes Word can add coding that may make the page display funny or worse – the coding itself can display at the top of the page and it’s fairly ugly looking.

I use a not often spoken about program called Note Tab Pro from Fookes Software. It writes in plain text, you can add any html you need as you go with hot keys and it does spell check, keyword density and word count – all at once. It’s fast loading even on my overburdened laptop and it’s very affordable.

I started out with the freebie “Lite” version and then went for “Pro” after I found it so useful for my writing. I can work on numerous items at the same time because it has a tabbed feature and you can set it up to save as you go so if your computer enjoys displaying the blue screen of death on occasion as mine does – especially when I’m at word 390 of a 400  word article, then this will save you from a lot of retyping.

This isn’t an affiliate marketing ploy or anything like that – I just like their software – check it out here -Notetab by Fookes.
